The cigar is very sensitive to its environment, we can say they are a little bit priggish, so it’s important the care that we provide to them after we bribe them to ourselves. After purchase we can not act heedless, perchance throw our newbie to the drawer, saying 'I will smoke it sometime'.
Rituals are the little enjoyments of life. Like a sommelier has to know all the tricks of opening a glass of wine, a cigar aficionado has to know the finess of takeing off a cigar’s cap, because this preparation – especially in an artistic way – can assure almost as much pleasure to a cigar smoker as the smoking of the cigar itself.
Lighting a cigar cannot be compared to the simple motion as we light a cigarette or as we light a candle. A cigar has soul accordingly we need complex but composed and definite moves to enjoy a cigar as we and the cigar deserve.
